VINYFOR-AC-3 ADCA 208 200 Median particle diameter; 19; standard type with high decomposition temperature; decomposes sharply.

VINYFOR-AC-50-S ADCA 208 200 Median particle diameter; 18 ; suited for x-linked PE foam by press molding.

VINYFOR-AC-3M ADCA 208 200 Median particle diameter; 8 ; easily influenced by blowing activator.

VINYFOR-AC-R ADCA 208 200 Median particle diameter; 30 ; tolerance to thermal hysteresis; little initial decomposition loss by rolling operation etc.

VINYFOR-AC-LQ ADCA 199 210 Median particle diameter; 20 ; same as above.

VINYFOR-AC-1C ADCA 199 210 Median particle diameter; 7 ; easily influenced by blowing assistant; very little undecomposed colour.

VINYFOR-AC-1L ADCA 200 205~220 Crosslinked PE foamed sheet.

VINYFOR-AC-K3 ADCA 210 200 Crosslinked PP foamed sheet; (electron processing system).

VINYFOR-AC-LF ADCA 191 180 Free flowing type and fine cell for XL polyethylene foam.

VINYFOR-DW-6 ADCA 160 198 Economical, in that large quantity of gas is generated; when used for PE high density injection molding, uniform minute cells free from coloring are generated.

VINYFOR-AC-M1-K3 ADCA 201 190 XL polyethylene foam, fine cell, good dispersion both for chemical and physical cross-linking.

VINYFOR-SW-5 ADCA 205 186 Suitable for PP high density extrusion molding because decomposition takes place mainly in the initial period and process is slow; usable for light-colored extrusion moldings.

VINYFOR-AK-2 ADCA/DPT 122 111 Suitable for pressure foaming of EVA and polybutadiene.

EXCELLAR-Q-25 ADCA/DPT 122 138 Suitable for pressure foaming of PE,EVA; generates uniform micro cells.

Description

Rubber and plastic, when molded with air bubbles mixed in, are respectively called “rubber sponge” and “cellular plastic”. These moldings are produced in the following methods:

(1) Using blowing agent
(2) Foaming by mechanical stirring
(3) Utilizing gas by product of chemical reaction
(4) Mixing/impregnating and vaporizing volatile solvent with low boiling point
(5) Injecting liquefied gas
(6) Mixing in micro-balloons(hollow)
(7) Adding soluble substance and then dissolving it out

Among the above methods, only (1)”Using blowing agent” has a wide variety of applications for molding, from low-expansion foaming to high-expansion foaming. Blowing agents herein refer to chemicals (gas generating substances) that are mixed into rubber or plastic, are decomposed by heating to generate nitrogen gas, carbon dioxide gas, carbon monoxide gas, ammonium gas, or sometimes hydrogen gas etc. inside the base, and build up a cellular structure.
